ALEX FRAZER Senior Assessor


Alex is amongst the country''s most experienced and accomplished workplace assessors having had some thirty years involvement with Vocational Education and Training as well as the Electrotechnology and Metals Industry sectors across Australia. Alex''s industry and educationalist qualification includes a Master of Education, Diploma of Teaching, Certificate IV in Assessment and ''Workplace'' Training and has worked as a Registered Electrical Contractor and Electrical Trades Teacher.



PETER JONES Training Consultant/ Assessor


Peter has previously worked in the Policy and Planning Unit of the Office of Post Compulsory Education Training and Employment, a Project Officer in the Policy and Planning Unit of the Office of Training and Further Education (OTFE) and the Senior Industry Planning Officer of the Engineering, Building and Construction Industries Unit of the Industry Programs Branch. Peter has assessed approximately 300 workers and is constantly sought after by small and large enterprises to assist with the assessment of workers against National Training Packages. Peter established his own education and training consultancy small business, has undertaken consultancies with TAFE Institute and Industry Training Board and developed communication and information technology curriculum at Graduate Certificate level. Peter also has the following attributes: · E-Grade Electrical Licence · Certificate of Electronic Engineering · Cert IV Assessment & Workplace Training · Bachelor Applied Science · Grad Certificate in Enterprise Management

BRAD FLANAGAN Training Consultant/ Assessor


Brad Flanagan is the Executive Officer of the Queensland Utilities and Services Industry Training Advisory Board (QUSITAB) and previously the Research Officer for five years. The organisation provides strategic advice to the QLD Training Board, the QLD Training Authority, and Industry regarding training issues, and promotes training in the ElectroComms and EnergyUtilities industries. In addition to managing the day to day aspects of the company Brad has the following attributes: · Business Management · Research · Dealing with government · BA in Government and Politics and Government · Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training · Certificate III in Accounting · Submissions · Expertise in Electrical Gas industry Training Package

BLYTHE WARLAND Training Consultant/ Assessor


Blythe Warland commenced his career as an apprentice Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic, from his apprenticeship he worked in many rural and remote areas across the Northern Territory, as well as owning his own Refrigeration & Air Conditioning business. He then became a lecturer at the then Northern Territory University (now known as Charles Darwin University) in the Refrigeration Department; he soon became Associate Dean of Utilities & Construction. Most reently Blythe has been Senior Lecturer/Coordinator for the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment prior to joining the Connect Assess team with his partner Kathy Robertson as Northern Industry Skills Assessors in Darwin.



TONY OAKLEY Training Consultant/ Assessor


Tony has been a Training Consultant in the power and manufacturing industry for 14 years and has extensive experience in training and assessing of tradespersons and operators. Tony also has vast experience in developing Web Based Learning programs as a part of National Qualifications. Tony has developed and implemented competency based training programs in several large power and alumina organisations. Tony''s qualifications include: Diploma in Training & Assessment, Graduate Certificate in Training (Action Learning), Certificate IV in Training, Electrical Fitting Trade Certificate (A Grade electrical mechanics license, Fitter 1st Class Machinist Trade Certificate, Instrument Fitter Trade Certificate.



ROLAND ROGOTOWICZ Training Consultant/ Assessor


Roland is a highly skilled and experienced training and assessment practitioner who has worked in this context both nationally and internationally. Roland''s industry qualifications are centred in Electrotechnology support by high level educationalist expertise involving curriculum, competency standards and the development and delivery of assessment tools and assessment in the workplace. Roland''s qualifications include a Master of Business, Diploma of Teaching as well as wide ranging electrotechnology trade and technician credentials.
